Shades for Pendants, Chandeliers, Sconces

You'll be able to find shades here that you'll never find in a catalog!  We have an extensive display of Shades at our Oregon coast galleru, but we understand that we're not easy to get to for many of you.  We are trying to get as broad a selection on our web site, though - and more are being added all the time

Our “Standard Shades" are typically 6-8" in height, 5-6” through the body, and are flared to 6-8” at the edge - tall enough to cover the entire bulb, and wide enough to easily change bulbs.

The Standard design of these Shades uses an opaque color in the background, which allows for a pleasant glow when lit, rather than allowing glare from the bulb. An Eggshell White is standard, but opaques such as, Light Tobacco with the Lava mix, and Water Blue with the Ocean mix are available.

The Translucent option is an aesthetic look with no opaque background color. This allows you to see through the glass shade. A small amount of the Eggshell color is added, to react with the prefered mix colors, leaving gray and earth tones behind. You will also be able to see the light bulb, and we prefer to use the Antique or Edison bulbs with this option of shade (they do make a LED version of the Antique bulbs).

Though these Shades are most commonly used with pendant fixtures, their design allows them to look equally good facing either up or down - on chandelierswall sconcestable lamps or pendants.
