Fluted Opaque Shades
You'll be able to find shades here that you'll never find in a catalog! We have an extensive display of Shades at our Oregon coast galleru, but we understand that we're not easy to get to for many of you. We are trying to get as broad a selection on our web site, though - and more are being added all the time
Our Fluted Shades are Bob's original design, and continue to be our most popular. Typically 6-8" in height, 5-6” through the body, and flared to 6-8” at the edge, they're also available in a smaller size of 5-7" in height and 5-7" at the edge.
Behind the main colors of this Shade is a layer of an opaque - usually off-white - which allows for a pleasant glow when lit, rather a direct glare from the bulb.
Though these Shades are often referred to as "pendant shades", their design allows them to be used with chandeliers, wall sconces, table lamps or pendant fixtures, facing either up or down.
